When looking at history, prospering societies have always been the result of a successful freedom or independence struggle and usually blood was spilled. That society then was prosperous until the descendants forgot about the sacrifices of their ancestors. Such cycles keep occurring throughout history. Does anyone actually think that it could be different now?
