Western nations had providential roles, lots of colonies, and amassed great wealth by ripping off countries on other continents. Although it was God given, these nations didn't always fulfill their role and didn't always behave nice to those peoples. Obviously, there is some guilt there. So now, they're happy, to make it up to some migrants...
But East European countries had a less flashy history, had no colonies, and basically minded their own business. That's why we don't totally understand the whole fuss about mostly economic migrants pouring in. We see the whole thing more pragmatic.
Basically, we see how the ones who created the EU are now dismantling it... But i guess that is their right...
Meanwhile, i'm getting ready for my own migration...
